Housing an extensive collection of over 35,000 books and subscriptions to more than 80 journals and magazines, the library offers a diverse range of resources. The print collections encompass major newspapers in both English and Malayalam languages, alongside back volumes of journals and magazines, complemented by a substantial reference book collection. The arrangement of books adheres to the internationally recognized Dewey Decimal System of classification, ensuring easy access and navigation for users. To facilitate efficient library management operations, the institution utilizes the open-source software ‘Koha’ which has been in operation since 2011. Through Koha, the library’s operations are fully automated, encompassing bibliographical details of books, journals, magazines, and user information. This automation allows for seamless library transactions and enhances user experience. Moreover, the library adopts an open access system, promoting easy accessibility to resources for all users.
