Department of Botany in association with Bhoomithra Sena, Green Initiatives Centre and Biodiversity Club conducted an exhibition of natural flowers "BLOSSOM 2023"on 11th September 2023. The program was inaugurated by Dr. K V Murali, Principal, Nehru Arts and Science College Kanhangad, in the presence of Dr Prajith PK, HOD Dept of Botany, Dr agretious Thomas, Dr. Subramanya Prasad, Dr. Swathi Krishna C, Dr. Silpa P. Approximately 200 to 300 natural flowers along with their Local and Scientific names were exhibited in the programme.
Expo was visual treat to the visitors. Motive of the exhibition is to introduce the students to different kinds and varieties of natural flowers in our localities. 300 people were visited the Expo. Innovative and decorative way of floral arrangements enriched the skills of students and staffs.
