Vikram Sarabhai Centenary Programme 2019-20

As you are aware, the nation is celebrating the Birth Centenary of Dr. Vikram A Sarabhai, the father of Indian Space Programme. In this regard, various programmes are planned across the country and the formal inauguration of the programme was done by Hon. Prime Minister of India on 12 August 2019. Centenary programmes are planned in each district in Kerala by VSSC, LPSC, IISU and IIST of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and the programme in Kasargod district are proposed to be conducted in Nehru Arts & Science College. As part of the event, there will be a lecture on Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, a space exhibition and various competitions for school students. It will be a great opportunity for school students and the public to get familiarized with various aspects of space technology as well to participate in various competitions. Participation certificates shall be given to all participating students and attractive prizes and certificates will be distributed to the winners.
