Description: Perennial clumping bamboo, 7-13 m tall, with short rhizomes. Culm bright green when young, becomes yellowish green at maturity. Culm sheath yellowish green, turning straw coloured when mature. Leaves linear, pointed.
Uses: Grown as on ornamental bamboo.
