Description: Small gnarled and twisted tree, with stellate hairs. Leaves digitately 5-foliolate, leaflets oblong-obovate to oblong-elliptic, stellate-puberulous. Flowers yellow, with reddish throat, in dense terminal contracted racemes. Fruit linear-cylindric capsule.

Uses: Commonly planted in gardens.
