Description: Medium-sized tree. Leaves simple, opposite, oblong-lanceolate or ovate-oblong. Flowers greenish-white, in terminal or axillary 3–7 flowered cymes. Fruit light red or white, depressed-turbinate, pear-shaped berries, crowned by calyx lobes.

Uses: Planted for their edible fruits.
