Description: An evergreen tree, with milky latex. Leaves simple, clustered at the ends of the branches, elliptic or oblong-elliptic or oblanceolate, shining. Flowers greenish white, solitary or in pairs. Fruit ovoid or ellipsoid berry, with rusty-brown skin.

Uses: Usually cultivated for its edible fruits.
