Description: Medium to large tree. Leaves simple, crowded at the ends of the branches, oblong-lanceolate. Flowers white or light yellowish tinged with purple, polygamous, in terminal panicles. Fruit large, fleshy, ovoid to ellipsoid drupe.

Uses: Cultivated for its delicious fruits. Wood is used for construction purposes. Leaves and bark are medicinal.
