Description: Ornamental spreading tree. Leaves bipinnate, pinnae 11-18 pairs, leaflets numerous, elliptic to linear-oblong. Flowers scarlet or orange-red, in terminal and axillary lax racemes. Fruit woody, linear-oblong, flattened pod, up to 75 x 5 cm.

Uses: Planted as garden or avenue tree.
