Description: Small tree with short stiff sharp spines. Leaves unifoliolate, elliptic to oblong-ovate, petioles narrowly winged. Flowers white, axillary. Fruit small, globose to ovoid, greenish yellow hesperidium.

Uses: Cultivated for heir fruits. Fruits used mainly in the preparation of pickles and beverages.
