Description: Medium-sized deciduous tree. Leaves paripinnate, leaflets 4-8 pairs, ovate or ovate-oblong. Flowers yellow, in many-flowered pendulous racemes. Fruit terete, pendulous, indehiscent pod.

Uses: Often grown as an ornamental tree. Bark ids medicinal. Fruit pulp is a strong purgative.
