Description: An evergreen shrub, growing up to 2.4 m in height. Leaves simple, leathery, elliptic-oblong, clustered at the branch tips. Flowers purple, turn lavender and then white, in terminal cymes. Fruit spherical to ovate capsule.

Uses: Cultivated as an ornamental plant.
