Description: Perennial caespitose bamboo. Culms 4.5-5 m high, straight or slightly zigzag, widely bending outwards above. Culm-sheaths deciduous, hispid, with dark brown hairs. Leaf-blades delicate, lanceolate, glabrous, mid-green with white to cream stripes.
